At certain points in our lives, we may experience challenges, stressors, and difficulties that may feel too overwhelming or painful to handle. I chose to pursue a course of professional study, and work, that has allowed me to make an impact on the lives of people. My focus has always been on promoting well-being and client strengths, rather than on focusing solely on the negative effects of problems, to bring about change in people’s lives. I have a passion for helping clients gain recovery, and to reach a state of openness where healing may begin. I have found that the most rewarding element of counseling is helping people reach a state of joy where they are living their fullest life, and I am dedicated to working with each and every client towards this goal.

I am an experienced, well tested, compassionate, and highly devoted mental health counselor with years of professional

Emotional Support Animal Qualifications

An Emotional Support Animal (ESA) is an animal that provides comfort, support, or therapeutic benefits to persons with mental or emotional disabilities. A licensed therapist, psychologist, or psychiatrist typically prescribes an ESA to a person after determining that the animal's presence is needed for the person’s mental health. An ESA can be prescribed to help alleviate a wide range of mental health conditions, from anxiety and depression to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and more.

If you’re prescribed an Emotional Support Animal, you’ll be issued an official document called an Emotional Support Animal letter, also known as an ESA letter. This document certifies that you have a legitimate need for the support that your animal provides and are exempt from federal housing and travel rules.

At ESA Pet, our licensed therapists evaluate various aspects when screening an animal for emotional support certification. This includes the animal’s temperament and behavior, bonding potential, health and vaccination records, and suitability for the living environment. Once our therapists deem your pet eligible for Emotional Support Animal certification, they’ll write an ESA letter for you.
